Hampton Hall Golf Club (private, but our guests can get on!)

Pete Dye has perfected the art of golf course design and we are exceptionally lucky to have, at the center of the Hampton Hall community, an exquisite and unparalleled example of his work.

Dye has designed the course at Hampton Hall to accentuate the natural beauty of the Lowcountry and to offer challenging and enjoyable play for the accomplished player and novice alike. The course plays from 5,329 yards to 7,489 yards, depending on which of the five sets of tees are played. A gratifying experience for golfers of all levels is ensured with wide fairways and landing areas, unobstructed green approaches, and a safe route on every hole. For those who seek a challenge, the safe route can be traded for a variety of risk-reward shot making opportunities.

Hilton Head National Golf Club

Hilton Head National is one of the best 27-hole championship golf courses…on or off the Island. The only thing that surrounds our course is nature… golf as it is meant to be played!

Just a quite, peaceful round of golf at fair prices. Low Country golf at its finest.

This award-winning championship course has established itself as one Hilton Head’s best…a superbly conditioned and diversified layout.

Locals and visitors alike have made HHN the “must” play while in the area.

Hilton Head National was designed by golf legend Gary Player and renowned golf architect Bobby Weed. Hilton Head National is a public green fee golf facility owned by Scratch Golf Company.

Oyster Reef Golf Club (semi private)

Rees Jones’ Oyster Reef, rated one of the top 25 new courses in the U.S., features elevated tees and lush fairways lined with thick stands of live oak and pine. Numerous doglegs, accented by strategically located mounds and fairway bunkers, call for well-planned tee shots. Varying sizes of greens with well-defined tiers place a premium on precise approach shots.

The par-3 sixth, which plays 192 yards from the tips to a green set against a backdrop of Port Royal Sound, is one of the most spectacular holes on the island. In the summer of 2000, all the greens were converted to state-of-the-art TifEagle Bermuda grass, significantly improving the putting surfaces. Tee times should be booked in advance, as there are limited public tee times available.

The course, recently voted the second most popular public course on the island, continues to be a favorite for avid golfers. Save money with our multi-day package and experience a portion of our 99 holes playing a variety of island layouts including Robber’s Row, Planter’s Row, Barony at Port Royal as well as Shipyard and Oyster Reef.
